玻璃鱗片膠泥作為防腐層zui簡(jiǎn)單的方法，就是使流體介質(zhì)與基體隔絕，而膠泥涂料通常存在孔隙，流體介質(zhì)（水、酸、堿等）小分子的直徑一般比涂層的孔隙要小，加上這些與涂層接觸的介質(zhì)都是直線地通過(guò)，而涂層又不可能涂得很厚（否則要產(chǎn)生裂紋），一般的膠泥涂料即使可以較好地耐其所接觸的介質(zhì)腐蝕，但它抵擋不住介質(zhì)向基體的擴(kuò)散滲透。所以，普通的防腐涂料一般只能作為大氣防腐而不能起到襯里的作用，尤其在液相介質(zhì)和溫度較高的場(chǎng)合。玻璃鱗片膠泥的加入使涂料發(fā)生了二方面的變化，一是可以加工成很厚而不要擔(dān)心會(huì)發(fā)生裂紋，這是因?yàn)椴Ａ[片把涂層分割成許多小的空間而大大地降低了涂層的收縮應(yīng)力和膨脹系數(shù)；二是由于玻璃鱗片膠泥的多層平行與基體排列，使介質(zhì)擴(kuò)散滲透的路線變得彎彎曲曲，增大了介質(zhì)滲透擴(kuò)散至基體的阻力。用于涂料中的玻璃鱗片膠泥具有魚(yú)鱗效應(yīng)：成千上萬(wàn)的鱗片交錯(cuò)排列，形成涂層內(nèi)復(fù)雜曲折的滲透擴(kuò)散途徑，使得腐蝕介質(zhì)的擴(kuò)散路線變得相當(dāng)曲折，很難達(dá)到基材。

組成：玻璃鱗片、固化劑、耐磨填料、乙烯基樹(shù)脂等
特點(diǎn)：
乙烯基玻璃鱗片膠泥擁有優(yōu)良的耐化學(xué)介質(zhì)、高溫濕態(tài)腐蝕性氣體性能。
極低的水蒸氣滲透了、硬化收縮率、線膨脹系數(shù)低。
充分抵擋高溫及溫度驟變，較低的磨耗性能。
常溫硬化，成型施工簡(jiǎn)單，修補(bǔ)容易。
適用范圍：
石油貯槽、化學(xué)品油船、鐵路橋梁等的表面涂覆。
海洋工程工程建筑物、鋼結(jié)構(gòu)的防腐。
管道煙氣脫硫（FGD）裝置的耐蝕襯里，其zui高使用溫度可達(dá)180℃。
建筑物地面、排水溝、污水池的耐蝕覆蓋層。
使用方法：
鋼結(jié)構(gòu)便面除油去污，除銹等級(jí)不低于Sa2.0或St3標(biāo)準(zhǔn)；混凝土表面清理干凈，表面含水率 <6%，底漆涂刷1至2道，待干后施工。
用手工刮刀刮鏝成1-2mm（每道）的膠泥層，數(shù)小時(shí)硬化后再設(shè)計(jì)要求施工至規(guī)定厚度。
在彎角或者形狀突變處適當(dāng)增加厚度，或用FPR增強(qiáng)，zui后用漆罩面1至2道。
包裝和保存：
本品用25kg鐵通包裝，在陰涼干燥處密封保存，25℃下有效保存期為三個(gè)月。
